robert-pattinson-taylor-lautner-parking-lotFinally, the fans call the shots! This coming Friday November 6th, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Chris Weitz will be visiting Moviefone’s LA studio to interview each other with your questions. Sweet eh?

I think this is another case of giving back to the fans. These guys definitely show us their appreciative sides, to take time out of their mega busy schedules to do something like this for us. *Sigh* This is why we love you!

So what question’s will you be asking? Is the whole Kristen & Rob thing a sham? Does he really have that hard of a time scoring a date? What’s the deal with Taylor squared? Do you think you will continue to keep the additional 30 lbs of muscle after the entire saga is completed? What team does Chris Weitz really prefer? Is Chris interesting in taking on the challenge of directing Breaking Dawn? (To name a few! lol)

Well time is winding down, to get all of your questions in. To submit your questions & read the entry requirements head on over to Moviefone!

P.S. Check back with Moviefone on Monday, November 16 where the full interview will be posted & to see if you & your pals were some of the lucky ducks, whose questions were published.

Robert Pattinson Twilight Interview

Laremy Legel,

Last weekend a group of us movie-website folk descended upon Beverly Hills to talk to Robert Pattinson. They didn't give us much time, but here is what we learned about the newest sensation:

Question: So are they still going to let you cut your hair?

Robert Pattinson: I already did cut it. Someone asked, "Is it true you haven't washed it for six weeks?" and I said "I haven't washed it for four years!

Question: How did you end up on the Twilight soundtrack?

RP: By accident. I think Nikki gave a CD of stuff I'd recorded on my computer to Catherine. I'd recorded it years ago. I think Catherine put it into a cut and I didn't even realize what it was at first. It kind of fit really well. I didn't really think about it other than I didn't know I was going to be on the soundtrack. I wanted to do it [under] another another name because I thought it would be distracting ... which it has been. It was probably all a big mistake. But I like the idea. I think the song fit there. I didn't think it sounded like me, so I thought it would just kind of work. I'm not trying to get a music career out of it or anything.

Question: Is it harder to act supernatural or American?

RP: I never really saw him as an American guy, the character, even though he's got an American accent. I'm not playing a jock, which is typically American. Like you don't have to do hand signs or anything or little handshakes, that type of stuff. So I guess the supernatural thing.

Question: But you did have to learn how to play baseball...

RP: I've been asked this everywhere. "So I understand you're crap at baseball..." I just didn't care. I think sports are stupid. Catherine Hardwicke was so determined to make me look like a professional baseball player. She had this coach trying to teach me the "ready" position, like a little squat. I was like, "Seriously, I'll do it on the day. You don't have to teach me." But Catherine wanted to see it, in front of all these extras. It was just very embarrassing. So for the rest of the shoot, whenever Catherine couldn't decide how to block a shot I'd say, "I think I should be doing my ready position." But yeah, I'm terrible at baseball. I'm terrible at every sport apart from running, but I'm terrible at that now too.

Robert PattinsonQuestion: Talk about the use of music here, how the music sets up the feel of the Cullens.

RP: It's the outsider thing. It's always been associated with goth culture. It's become more mainstream now; everyone seems to be emo now. Because young people feel like they don't connect with anything anymore. There is no such thing as an insider anymore. Everybody feels like outsiders. Vampires are kind of the definition, anyone who preys on the rest of humanity is obviously going to be an outsider in society. All the other supernatural things are ugly, or they're silly. I don't know what music is inspired by fairies ... or zombies. It's quite difficult to say, "I'm obsessed with zombies, they're so cool!"

Question: Do you consider Edward to be emo?

RP: I don't really know what emo is to be honest. Does it mean you're in touch with your emotions? I think he's kind of the opposite. He's spent his entire life repressing everything. He's kind of ashamed of himself when he lets his facade of formality break. When Bella comes into his life. He doesn't want to feel anything. He wants to make his world smaller and smaller because he doesn't feel like he belongs in it. He either want to be a human or die because his existence is completely pointless. That's why he doesn't talk to anyone. He doesn't really feel anything in the book apart from when Bella comes. He's literally counting the cracks in the wall and stuff. Every single day is exactly the same thing. If he feels anything he shuts it down immediately. He doesn't let himself feel anything at all, so I guess it's the opposite. Or he's a closet emo.

Question: So you've read the book ... what was it like to have to live up to this expectation of being the most beautiful man?

RP: I read the book like five months before casting. I read the first 50 pages, up until when he gets introduced and I was just like, "No." Because I was really fat last year as well. So it was just like embarrassing. I thought the whole thing was embarrassing, even turning up to the audition. I hadn't read the whole book before the audition, but even [from] the four-line synopsis -- "Edward is the perfect being. He's so witty and beautiful. He's crazy and funny. He'll open doors for you. He'll drive you in his Volvo." -- I thought even turning up would be embarrassing.

I still believe the initial reaction, when I was first cast, was the true reaction. Everyone now is like "Okay, I love the books so much I'll go with it. He's beautiful. Whatever." But the initial reaction was 100 percent "He's completely wrong for it." And I agree with them. I didn't play it like some guy who knew he was beautiful. I still don't really feel it. I don't feel it at all.

Question: So were you looking at all the blogs for reaction?

RP: No, initially I did. But my mom sent me some stuff, which she thought was really funny, when I was already in America. They had this picture from this Viking film I did where I looked like someone had beaten me in the face with a frying pan. I was wearing this disgusting wig. And they were like "THIS is Edward." It was a petition, which they were going to send to Summit saying, "We will not go and see the movie." It got up to 75,000 signings. This is about three days after I got cast. I was thinking, "Thanks for sending that mom!" That was my welcome into Twilight.

Question: But now people want all the Robert Pattinson news they can get. Can you say anything about Little Ashes?

RP: I did two little movies last year. Without Twilight I don't know what would happen to them. They would get like one theater. Tiny. I love it when people come up to me and say, "I'm not actually a fan of yours from Twilight, I'm a fan of yours from the poster of Little Ashes." It's so funny.

Question: Has your life changed? Can you still walk down the street?

RP: I don't [do] too much walking down the street. I'm always doing interviews or going into rooms where everyone is screaming. I go to different cities in the world for screaming sessions.

Robert PattinsonQuestion: Do you ever wish for a time before the internet?

RP: Definitely. It feeds the worst part of your soul. When you have nothing to do and you go on, when you're too tired to read a book. I'll read the news, you go on to the New York Times, you get bored and go on IMDb. Then you realize how pathetic you are. I have to delete my history. It is kind of addictive, but at the same time pathetic.

Question: How do you handle that swing of emotions, from 75,000 signatures to being on the cover of EW?

RP: It's the same thing either way. I prefer sticking with the people who said they hated me. At least you've got to fight for something then. My dad said success and failure were both impostors. That's the best way to go about acting, especially when everything is so extreme. Little girls saying, "I want to have your babies!" And it's "Like, you don't. Seriously." I don't even want to have my babies.

Stay tuned for more interviews, articles, and photos in our Ten Days of Twilight extravaganza!

Robert Pattinson — Internet Addict

Robert Pattinson has revealed his biggest vice — the internet.Robert Pattinson

The Twilight star, 22, is addicted to Googling himself to see if he smells nasty — or to find a new hair gel.

“[It] feeds the worst part of your soul,” said the British star. “When you have nothing to do and you go on, when you’re too tired to read a book.

“I’ll read the news, you go on to the New York Times, you get bored and go on IMDb.

“Then you realize how pathetic you are.

“I have to delete my history. It’s…addictive, but at the same time pathetic.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: Sleepover!

After months of are-they-or-aren't-they speculation, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart shared a pre-Halloween sleepover at a trendy L.A. hotel.

Usmagazine.com reports that the Twilight co-stars spent the night together at the Chateau Marmont hotel on Oct. 29. They had bagels for breakfast, and Us Magazine somehow obtained their exact order: plain with walnut cream cheese for him, blueberry with butter for her. Don't act like you're not just eating up these juicy details.

The couple (or non-couple?) star in New Moon, the second installment in the Twilight series, which releases Nov. 20. How convenient!

Expect more publicity outings from this pair as the release date of their movie draws ever closer.

Acting

Pattinson had supporting roles in the made for television film Ring of the Nibelungs in 2004 and in director Mira Nair’s Vanity Fair, although his scenes in the latter were deleted and only appear on the DVD version.[citation needed] In May 2005, he was slated to appear in the UK premiere of The Woman Before at the Royal Court Theatre, but was fired shortly before the opening night and was replaced by Tom Riley.[citation needed] Later that year he played Cedric Diggory in the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Consequently, he was named that year's British Star of Tomorrow by The Times. He also has more than once been touted as the next Jude Law.

Pattinson played Edward Cullen in the movie Twilight, based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novel of the same name, which was released on 21 November 2008 in North America. According to TV Guide, Pattinson was initially apprehensive about auditioning for the role of Edward Cullen, fearful that he wouldn't be able to live up to the "perfection" expected from the character. He will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight sequels New Moon and Eclipse, the latter of which began filming in August 2009.

Pattinson also had lead roles in the feature films Little Ashes (in which he plays Salvador Dalí), How To Be (a British comedy) and the short film The Summer House. In 2010, he will appear in a theatre production for producer David Pugh.[18]

He presented at the 81st Academy Awards on 22 February 2009.

Revolver Entertainment is creating a documentary, called Robsessed, about Pattinson's popularity. The documentary will be released on DVD in November 2009, to coincide with the release of New Moon

Robert & Kristen: After the Split

Robert Pattinson & Kristen StewartEven though the romance between Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been put, at least temporarily, on ice, the former couple still have to see each other for work. However, that doesn’t mean they’re going to spend any more time together than is necessary.

It was time for the two to take their leave of Vancouver this morning and head back to L.A, but rather than share a ride from their deluxe digs at the Sheraton, Rob and Kristen each traveled to the airport in the back of their own chauffeured cars provided by the film. And after they arrived at the airport five minutes apart, the police had to do double duty as each star was given their own escort to the gate.

“It’s clear that neither Rob nor Kristen looked happy when they arrived at the airport,” an eyewitness confirms to OK!.

In fact, says the witness, the only thing the couple seemed to share was their taste in wardrobe — dark shades and hoodie sweatshirts.

“This is not a pair that want to be seen together, that’s for sure,” the witness tells OK!.

Sources on the set say this is just a continuation of the behavior the two have demonstrated in recent days. Last night, the on-screen lovers wrapped shooting on the last Twilight film, Eclipse in the wee hours of the morning, having filmed their very last scene at the Canadian Motion Picture Park in Burnaby, British Columbia. And fans who waited at the studio gate say that Rob and Kristen are so chilly toward each other at the moment that they took separate limos back to their hotel after wrapping. In the past, they’d always made it a point to wait for each other, as they got out of their costumes, so that they could ride back to their hotel together.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Open Up

Author: Luisa Metcalfe

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson may be the most desired man in the world, but the Twilight star insists it hasn’t helped his love life. “I just don’t take any of it seriously. It’s just a job and while it’s a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date.”

Despite the attention from his rabid fans, R-Pattz, 23, is calm about the release of New Moon on Nov. 20. “I’m not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is,” he tells Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald newspaper,

“I appear in Bella’s dreams. So I’m in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning … and the end.

“So I’m more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn’t have to deal with any of the bulls*** of the first one. I don’t have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures.”

And much as he loves playing the swoon-worthy vamp, British-born Robert plans to branch out as much as he can. First up? A portrayal of the young Salvador Dali having a bromance with poet Federico Garcia Lorca in the indie flick, Little Ashes.

“I had to do all these hardcore gay sex scenes,” he announces, “when I haven’t even had a sex scene with a girl in a film yet.”

He also plays the lead in his upcoming movie, Remember Me, opposite Emilie de Ravin, “I’m lining up so many different films so it’ll be harder to just label me the vampire guy,” he says.

Meanwhile, his leading lady Kristen Stewart — who is rumored to be his love off screen as well as on — sets the latest issue of Allure magazine straight, “I read that story every day… it’s in a story every day, so let’s not put it in another one.”

The actress, who chopped her hair to sport Joan Jett’s ’80s mullet while filming The Runaways this summer, has the same modesty when it comes her body.

“This shot got everyone talking like I have some sort of great ass,” she says of pictures of Bella and Edward kissing in New Moon. “But come on, I have a flat ass. I don’t know what people are talking about.”

She and Rob share a low maintenance approach to personal style.”I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.’

“I’m like, don’t you get it? I’m not that girl! It’s not like I was really clean cut last year.”

And while Taylor Lautner, 17, had to pump serious iron to play werewolf Jacob Black in New Moon, you won’t see Kristen breaking a sweat.

“I don’t exercise. I’m skinny fat,” she says. “I worry about being too skinny. You should see my brother, he’s, like, emaciated. We both just happen to be really skinny.”

He’s got a huge teenage fang club these days - but here’s movie heart-throb Robert Pattinson as a fresh-faced schoolboy.

The actor, 23, who has found stardom as a hunky high school vampire, is pictured on his first day at school, aged six.

And he’s an image of innocence in striped tie and blazer as he arrives at posh Tower House prep school in Richmond, South West London.

Robert was mobbed in Japan yesterday as he promoted New Moon, the second film in the cult Twilight saga co-starring Kristen Stewart.
